Dior, the iconic high fashion house, has recently reopened their legendary Parisian flagship at 30 Avenue Montaigne. This store is more than just another high fashion outlet; it's an entire universe dedicated to Christian Dior's legacy with a restaurant, cafe and patisserie as well as garden and archive gallery - creating an even more stunning space than before.
The Parisian flagship is more than just a shop; it's an immersive experience that pays homage to Dior's heritage and the company's five designers since 1947. Featuring 130 mannequins, films and newsreels, artifacts, sketches and drawings, photos as well as vitrines with all of Dior's latest collections - there's something for everyone at this museum!
Establishing a cafe within a brand's retail space is an effective way to foster loyalty and attract new customers. Deus' business model revolves around this idea: They have nine global stores as well as numerous smaller satellite locations around the world, all featuring cafes.
Although it only accounts for 10% of their revenue, having a cafe within their shop has helped JANE attract new customers and boost cash flow. "Having the cafe is important because it creates an atmosphere of community for the brand and introduces us to people who wouldn't normally visit," Robson explained.
Another significant advantage for cafes is that they generate significant income to cover retail space and daily operating costs. Furthermore, it serves as an excellent social hub for staff members to interact and build relationships.
On the second floor of Dior store, there's a small rooftop terrace that seats approximately 12-15 people. It has an elegant, chic design with white tables and lush greenery throughout. A huge Dior sign with porcelain animals adorning it and floral tile throughout add to the opulent ambience.
In addition to the cafe, the museum features 13 galleries which showcase Christian Dior's iconic pieces from Christian Dior to Maria Grazia Chiuri's current creative director. Additionally, Guy Limone created an imposing photo installation that takes visitors through the house's storied past.
When it comes to food, The Cafe offers coffee and tea as well as pastries and desserts. Their signature French toast is sprinkled with sugar and served with maple syrup, while they also have a fresh strawberry and blueberry parfait. I had the grilled cheese sandwich which was one of my favorites on the menu: It was made with soft buttery brioche bread featuring an eye-catching Fendi pattern on top.
No matter where you go in Miami, odds are you'll need to wait in line for entry. While it can be quite long, take a photo with the iconic Dior logo! The service and atmosphere at Dior Cafe is equally as impressive - though prices for drinks such as frozen coffee served in margarita glass with tiny green tropical umbrella - $25!
