Who is Reed Kroloff?

Reed Kroloff is an influential figure in architecture and design, known for his work as an educator, editor, curator, and consultant. Kroloff serves as the Rowe Family Dean of the College of Architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in Chicago.

Kroloff has held numerous leadership positions in the field of architecture and design, including the Dean of the Tulane University School of Architecture in New Orleans and the Director of the Cranbrook Academy of Art and Art Museum in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He has also served as a design consultant for various urban development projects, such as the redevelopment of the World Trade Center site in New York City and the revitalization of downtown Detroit.

Kroloff is a frequent lecturer and commentator on architecture and design, and has written for publications such as Architectural Record, Dwell, and The New York Times. He has also served as a jury member for various architecture competitions and awards, including the Pritzker Architecture Prize.

Kroloff is known for his advocacy of sustainable design and his focus on the social, cultural, and economic impact of architecture and urban design.
