At this year's Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, an annual celebration of champagne and equestrian sport, Camilla Belle served as hostess and ceremonial first ball to kick-start proceedings at Will Rogers State Park in Pacific Palisades; one of only seven remaining fields (there once were more). Over 4,000 spectators gathered under yellow Veuve Clicquot umbrellas under yellow skies adorned with yellow Veuve Clicquot umbrellas to sip bubbly while enjoying food truck fare like nacho Figueras and Delfina Blaquier teams' performances during an afternoon game at Will Rogers State Park!
As is often the case, this event was an attractive sight - celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow, Lea Michele, Rose Byrne, Bobby Cannavale and Coco Rocha attended to cheer on their teams, with stylish men in tailored three-piece suits, khaki shorts, linen sports jackets and pastel-hued ties also present to cheer them on. RICH, Veuve Clicquot's "experiment with mixology" which first premiered this year at this polo classic; champagne over ice mixed with ingredients such as pineapple or cucumber was offered as part of its offerings to guests at this year's polo classic event - offering guests something different this year in form of chilled glass bottles to be enjoyed while sipping on this year's classic event!
On December 13, Broadway actress Brennyn Lark performed the National Anthem before a sold-out crowd to begin an exciting polo match between Nacho Figueras' Black Watch team and Team Liberty Comets led by MC Hugh Jackman. Following this exciting competition and an award presentation led by MC Hugh Jackman, attendees celebrated at a post-game cocktail lounge.
