Reigns Again lacks the subtlety and depth of its predecessor to balance out its extravagant excess with deeper explorations of class and consumer culture, instead relying on classic reality TV devices such as cost breakdown chyrons that reveal each purchase's cost - only leaving Jackie frustrated and unfulfilled at the end.
