Brown Bathroom Tile Ideas For Modern Spaces

Brown is a color that looks great in entryways, kitchens and living rooms but may present more challenges when used in bathrooms. But that doesn't have to stop it from adding warmth and inviting atmosphere to your space! Here are our favorite ways to incorporate brown into your design scheme.

Look for grays or browns with a vibrant undertone to add visual interest to your bathroom palette. These hues pair beautifully with marble surfaces, mosaic tile, and white vanity as it helps soften the strong white.

Install patterned gray tiles in your bath and shower to add a vibrant splash of color against white walls. They'll also serve to draw attention to areas like the tub and sink that may otherwise go overlooked.

Ceramic tile is an ideal choice for bathroom floors and walls, as it's durable and easy to keep clean. Choose from eye-catching herringbone patterns, vibrant graphics or all-white options for a unified aesthetic.

Hexagon tile is another way to give your floor a modern flair. Ashley Macuga from Collected Interiors recommends it because "it has a different rhythm and look than rectangular tiles."

Hexagonal floor and wall tiles can add a touch of sophistication to any bathroom, especially when combined with larger-format rectangular tiles of the same color. These large pieces help the space appear larger and more inviting.
