Cherries Ice Cream Stand in Stone Ridge has returned for its second season, offering families some respite during these difficult times. Situated adjacent to an unappealing parking garage, it quickly became a favorite destination among both residents and visitors alike, particularly during pandemic outbreak. Lawrence and Jolene O'Toole sought happiness for themselves and their two children during early pandemic days, finding it at Cherries ice cream shop in Stone Ridge which opened for its second season last month. Lawrence and Jolene credit Cherries as providing their oasis during shutdowns and social distancing, providing refuge from social isolation of young children during shutdowns and closures.

At a difficult time in our nation's history, one local business is making an enormous difference for its employees and customers alike. After 57 years of offering home-cooked meals at Stone's Restaurant in Cheviot, it will close permanently on Saturday; its daughter Mary said she will miss its regular customers and employees that have come through its doors over time.

This upscale sports bar on Columbus' northwest side exudes casual charm while still providing a sense of sophistication that sets itself apart from standard taverns in Columbus. Set within an old dry cleaner building at 1045 Bethel Road, this eatery features Amish-built tables and chairs featuring custom wood details in their open space - plus, their cozy lounge comes complete with fireplace to seat 32 before transitioning into their main dining area seating up to 74.

Orion Trifoni (Panini Opa, Koble Grill), Ilias Strovolidis and chef Alex Elofir aim to add an elevated feel to the bar scene in northwest Columbus. Their menu offers classic sports-bar starters like wings as well as more unique offerings such as calamari or potstickers; additionally there will be steaks, burgers and pizza cooked in wood-fire ovens plus Mediterranean-influenced plates available as main courses.
